2007 Sabre 36' (10.97 m) Spirit
Watkins Glen, New York, United States
Jim Taylor Yacht Design and the SABRE Design Team have collaborated on five award winning designs over 15 years, and, for 2007, were proud to introduce the SABRE Spirit daysailer/weekender with classic good looks and spirited performance.

- Fiberglass Hull
Description
For 35 years SABRE has built yachts with a performance pedigree, all built for people who love sailing and who treasure the exhilarating feeling that a great sailboat design can offer her crew. But just as some owners allow the time for long range cruising, there are those whose schedules require a different sailing lifestyle.
And so SABRE again turned to Jim Taylor to design a daysailer/weekender with the style and elegance of sailing yachts of a bygone era, and added to the design mandate blending the performance of a youthful sport boat with "grown-up" ease of handling available with today's modern sailing hardware.
Susie Q is very well equipped FRESH WATER boat for comfortable performance sailing and cruising. She has also been enjoyed as a club racer competing in the local PHRF Fleet on a regular basis accumulated an impressive record of victories. Her flag blue hull looks stunning, and her varnished brightwork sparkles.
Take advantage now of this rare opportunity to own one of the 17 Sabre Spirits built! I believe she is the finest daysailer/weekender/club racers available!

A native of northern New Jersey, Corbo was introduced to sailing shortly after graduating Ithaca College and became obsessed with sailing. Crewing whenever opportunity arose he also bought and campaigned several one-design sailboats. While still sailboat racing whenever time allows on his J-70 “Late Life Crisis” he enjoys cruising with his wife Donna. They recently stumbled over to the “Dark Side”, trading in their Beneteau 37 for a Back Cove 37.
