Description
BROKER’S COMMENTS: We sold this boat new and it has lived on Lake Ontario. Mickey's Rose has enjoyed professional maintenance since new. It has only been used in fresh water. Very clean and in excellent condition!
This very successful model with In-Mast Furling mainsail, 105% Genoa and a Beneteau Gennaker with dousing sock. It also has shoal draft, folding prop, ST60 instruments including a C-80 GPS chart plotter and wheel pilot. Dodger, Bimini and connector cover are also included.
CONSTRUCTION
The hull is hand-laid solid GRP bonded to a structural grid/hull liner of directional fiberglass/GRP for a strong, stiff, light composite. Vinylester hull barrier coat to resist osmotic blistering and zone-specific stitchmat laminates for a specific increased strength optimization. The cored GRP sandwich construction for stiffness, thermal and acoustic insulation and for light weight. There are solid fiberglass reinforcements in high load areas with integral unidirectional GRP deck beams for added strength. The main bulkheads are bonded 360 degrees to the hull and deck for rigged tensional and compressive strength.

A native of northern New Jersey, Corbo was introduced to sailing shortly after graduating Ithaca College and became obsessed with sailing. Crewing whenever opportunity arose he also bought and campaigned several one-design sailboats. While still sailboat racing whenever time allows on his J-70 “Late Life Crisis” he enjoys cruising with his wife Donna. They recently stumbled over to the “Dark Side”, trading in their Beneteau 37 for a Back Cove 37.
